    Great quality
I took these for both of my pregnancies. I could not be happier with how they made me feel and with the quality of the supplement. They leave absolutely no aftertaste and in the first trimester it really did help decrease my symptoms. I will always recommend this supplement to friends and family because of the wonderful experience I had with it.

    So far so good
So i just received my first bottle of these vitamins after doing extensive research on them and loving that they are whole food based and all natural and contain so much more good stuff than your average prenatal (hello? how many have probiotics?)Anyway I just got them in the mail today and when I opened the bottle my first thought was “these are considered small?” The thought brought on by reading other reviews that said they were small and easy to take. However when comparing them to a One-A-Days prenatals (I had purchased them at a much earlier date and could not for the life of me swallow those things)… I realized they really were small. I took my first one since it was lunch time and had no problems swallowing it, super sensitive gag reflex and all.I have also read that some people are turned off by the smell. And when I opened the bottle I had to laugh. If you’ve never been in a health food or all natural store (And not a place like Mom’s Organic Market, I mean one of the little ones) I can certainly understand why someone would be shocked by the smell.. It just the smell of natural. There’s nothing wrong with them and it was comforting to me because I know that they are as natural as the company claims.I’d also like to point out that the instructions DO say to take three pills. But if you go onto New Chapter’s website, it says plain as day that these doses can be taken at any time. Ive seen some women say they take all three at once. Because this is organic, it wont hurt you to take it all at once. The main reason they recommend spreading them throughout your day is because it more closely mimics the natural absorption of food as you would from eating a perfect meal for every meal. It merely aids in absorption. This being said, the three pill dosage also allows you to not take the whole dosage if you dont feel like you need so much. I eat a fairly healthy and balanced diet, so I will probably stick with only 2 pills. Which will also make my bottle last longer.Food for thought. Will update this after Ive been taking them for a while.***********Update********Almost a month of taking these vitamins and I love them. I love the freedom of being able to take the dosage I feel is appropriate for my body, instead of swallowing some huge pill. I take one every morning (and yes, I can take it on an empty stomach just fine, though I rarely do) and then monitor what I eat throughout the day to decide if I should take the second one. I usually always do, but I never take the third one. I have a fairly good diet, and dont feel that I need my vitamins to provide 100% of my nutrients. I feel great on these, though I cant say I notice a difference if I miss a day. I just like knowing Im not severely lacking anything major.I still have not had any problems swallowing these which is a miracle.

Perfect prenatal – Much research done
My wife, Filipina, first time pregnant, my first as well. I dug into the internet for prenatal vitamins, and comparisons. Independent Research results, and made phone calls. I bought 4 different brands. 2 failed on the quality side of things. Which ruined it for me, regardless of the research and reviews. If the brand can’t bring quality to the front door what good is everything else? 3rd option came with horrid taste. 4th is this one. Though the smell is not all great, it was the 2nd best option, 1st in reviews, and very very close to second in the independent research results. I was pleased to say the least. My wife wasn’t keen on the taste, took them once a night. Doctor results and all are going awesome. The first week or so there were signs of side effects, but that didn’t last more than a week or so. The benefits out weigh the beginning issues. We are half way on the second bottle. Nothing is not worth researching before subjecting your unborn to the chemicals of the worlds food and nutrient supplies. I even had a back up in place just in case.My only issue is the DHA. I don’t care the fact she has to take these 3x a day. But come on man… Where is the DHA. Don’t believe some of the answers in the “Questions” portion of this product regarding DHA. There is no docosahexaenoic in this bottle at all.We still use these and intend on finishing them. Due in 10 weeks, and taking another product for the DHA and Alaskan wild fish oil combination.Try it! To each their own…

    Absolutely AWESOME!!!
After countless hours online researching the best prenatal vitamins and what all should be in them, I kept coming back to New Chapter’s Perfect Prenatal. There were specific things I wanted out of my prenatal, particularly b/c I’m a vegetarian and a firm believer that one can get all the health and nutrients from a healthy diet if they really want to. However, pregnancy is a big exception area… we need the extra nutrients to provide to the growing fetus. I was looking for a prenatal that:- was not a pill; or at least not a large pill (I am HORRIBLE at swallowing pills)- organic- vegetarian/vegan- provided all the nutrients and vitamins essential to a healthy pregnancy without making me nausiousI actually tried the new Vitalah Oxylent Prenatal first… I really really wanted to like it. The whole philosophy about absorbing the nutrient better because they weren’t in pill form I agreed with; however, they were not organic or vegan (both are important to me). It just didn’t work out….. For some reason it upset my stomach, like really strong cramping in my abdominal area. Then I tried a prescription prenatal (Citranatal Harmony) which was was pretty good; however it was going to cost me quite a bit each month. I came back and did more research on the New Chapter and decided it was the one for me!I have not been taking it for nearly a month and cannot find any one thing wrong with it!!! The smell is easy to get over – especially because I know it’s from whole foods – totally worth it. But it’s really not that bad…Wonderful product that I will continue to use through all my pregnancies (When I even get pregnant! Praying for some baby dust my way soon!) I will surely recommend to anyone I know as well.FYI – I am taking it with the Spectrum Vegetarian DHA.

After trying 3 other prenatal vitamins, I have finally found one I am happy with. My others would give me an upset stomach or heartburn. These do not. I love the ingredients as well. I could only find one store in my town selling these and they have since stopped, therefore I began purchasing them here. I have ordered twice now, both times my order arrived on time. The only negative, if there is one, about these prenatal vitamins is you have to take them 3 times per day.

I’m currently 10wks pregnant and have not experienced any morning sickness. These prenatal vitamins are a great purchase. Price wise, taste and the fact that they are vegetarian is important to me as I have been a vegetarian for the past 10 years. I would highly recommend this product to expectant mothers.

  7. Tenille

This is a excellent prenatal vitamins. I lost weight while taking these pills and still maintained a healthy pregnancy

Item arrived broken. There were tons of tiny shards of glass. I ended up cutting myself on the glass opening the package. Although it was a small cut, I was really careful, and it shouldn’t have happened. I thought I might be able to save the vitamins, but I’m too nervous to eat them with all the shards stuck to them. I don’t feel like the item was shipped properly, as it arrived in a box without any packing material or warnings of fragile or glass item. I will try to return the item.*Edit: I called Amazon customer support and they were amazing! Thank you Fatima!

  9. Cassaundra

Not my favorite, I ended up not being able to stomach them. The bottle is heavy duty though and they are an affordable price for me. They pills themselves were larger than expected.
