Highly highly recommend. The volume is perfect if the radio is off/low. The headphones feature is great for kids who know how to use them. Have had no problems with it at all. Very easy to install and take off if needed. Would buy again in a heartbeat

Unreliable
It works SOMETIMES, not all the time. When it works, itâs great. It takes several attempts to get it to even turn on and even then, sometimes it still does not work. This was purchased for a road trip and Iâve had it less than 2 months, so for the price point, itâs pretty disappointing. Donât waste your time- buy from someone else.

Dislike mount, but overall good
We really dislike the mount – it requires a screwdriver to bolt around the head rest mount. The mountâs interior is very roughly textured. This isnât great because itâs not possible to quickly remove the screen and leave no trace while in a store, increasing chances of break ins. Also, itâs a lot of work to move the screens between vehicles. The mount is also likely to scratch the chrome finish on the headrest posts. If they would have simply included a sturdy place to loop velcro into the back side of the screen, these downsides could have been avoided.The device has a distinct in/out ports for sharing video / audio between the two screens. This makes it so the devices need to be rewired if the kids want to watch what the other one is watching, if the player is not wired as the current output. We previously owned a set of travel players where it had a in/out combined port allowing either device to be the player/viewer.At one point in our trip, both devices suddenly ejected their discs at the same time, but other than that, theyâve worked well. The kids have struggled to figure out the remote buttons, but with a little help they manage. They also accidentally pressed the eject button and then couldnât reach the disc to reinsert it, but another time they indicated they were able to get the player to pull the disc back in.We also purchased a 12v 3rd party battery pack so the devices stay running during fuel stops. That is super helpful, because otherwise the kidsâ movies get frequently interrupted. The devices have smart resume which continues the movie where left off, butwith the device lacking even a small battery it otherwise shuts off the moment the car turns off.

All i can say is love it. This was definitely worth the money. And it cane in with in 5 days of ordering!You can connect modern day video game systems to it. Kids can watch the same thing, or let them watch something totally different, at the same time. They come with head phones so you don’t have to hear it. Easy to install. Mt son loves it, because he can hook his switch up to it, his Playstation and any thing hdmi . We bought a cord that he can play super Nintendo, game cube, wii or the Nintendo 64 . It hooks in the back on the console and goes right into the hdmi port. Well worth the money !

Good in theory, poor in practice
One of the screens stopped playing DVD’s halfway through the 1st road trip, and wouldnt eject it. Luckily it was still within the 30 day return window. I was offered a replacement screen, but didn’t want to chance the whole thing going kaput after 30 days. It’s really unfortunate as the headrest attachment was perfect, as was the overall ability to use 1 or 2 screens. It also could have been improved by having a battery, it had to stay plugged in the entire time to work.

Keeping the kids entertained
These screens are going to be amazing for our road trips. I love the flexability of inputs available. This has a full size HDMI, opening up the possability to connect to just about anything you can think of. DVDs will likely be our main media during road trips, so it’s very nice to have that. They are quite thick and bulky, but that’s understandable seeing that they have the DVD slot. They will blend in with our car nicely. THe ability to connect the two screens is great too so the kids can watch the same movie.

I’m giving this 5 stars because some of the most important things are checked on my list. 1) DVD doesn’t skip when I’m on a rough road. 2) screens stay where they are when attached to the headrest and do not tip forward as they are heavy. 3) comes with headphones which are good quality and two remotes. 4) You can play two separate movies so no fighting over which movie to watch. 5) Has last play memory so we don’t have to restart the whole movie if we shut the car off.Negatives would be that these are not chargeable. They must be plugged in to a power source to run. The remotes will change both players when used which can be annoying if one kid wants it louder and the other doesn’t want the volume touched.Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase. Honestly, right now, they are running great and it’s really easy to detach and bring them inside when not used so they aren’t left in the cold.

I really liked the look and ease of understanding these players, but upon trying to play a dvd one player continually says “no disc” after loading. (The disc label facing the screen as instructed). I also could not play movies from my phone through hdmi, but I did find out that the pixel 5 doesn’t easily cast to a screen through hdmi so perhaps that’s a different issue entirely. I tried connecting an android up to the usb to view photos, but despite charging the phone it still said “no usb”.So overall a disappointing experience, but Im guessing I just managed to get one lemon out of the two players. The one that did work to play a dvd sounded great through the provided headphones. Will be returning, but would consider repurchasing if I knew that a different type of phone could connect through hdmi.

I bought these as a Christmas gift for my children I have had multiple different DVD players for the car and this one seems to be good quality I do like that it has playback memory so it’s not restarting from the beginning every time it also allows you to watch two separate things so if you are in a van and you have kids in the middle in the back they can choose different movies and they do have her both and headphones I would definitely recommend it and buy again
