Fair price, powerful fragrance
My tub drains slowly so I’ve had to get creative with placement because the disks are quickly submerged if I set them anywhere on the bottom of the tub. This set doesn’t include one but some steamer sets come with a small drawstring net bag that can be hung from the tap or elsewhere. That’s not perfect either though because I’ve had to splash them with water to release the scent — steam alone doesn’t do it, at least the level of steam produced by the hottest water I’m comfortable using. So, method of use aside, it’s all about the fragrance with these. I’ve taken them out of the box and have them stored in a pretty bowl on my vanity where they scent the whole bathroom and the hallway outside it. I enjoyed the powerful ROSE one I used last night and look forward to using the other seven fragrances. Decent value for 8 disks.

They do smell nice, but a bit pricey, and can get similar results with a few drops of essential oil.
These shower steamers come in a nice box that is perfect for gift giving, even if that gift is to yourself. Each disc is wrapped in foil with a nice label. I like that they are easy to unwrap, but I am a bit concerned that if they are not used up fairly quickly the scent might start melding together and get a bit muddy, not like they would if they were wrapped in plastic.I place the discs in the corner of my shower, not directly under the water, so just a bit of water splashes onto them. This way they last longer than under direct water. I would say it takes about 10 minutes to dissolve this way. This is enough time for one of my normal showers, and even if I want to relax longer in the shower, the scent still lingers in the air.You can definitely smell them, and they are not lacking in scent. I have had steamers in the past that I could barely smell, so this was very nice.The ingredients are Sodium Bicarbonate, Sodium Sulfate, Citric Acid, Sodium Carbonate, and Fragrance. To me, fragrance is different from essential oils, so I’m not entirely convinced that they contain them like the photos in the product description states.They are a bit pricey to me at over a dollar a steamer at the time I write this review.While I might buy them again to give as a gift, I can just as easily put a few drops of an essential oil in the corner of my shower and get a similar experience.

Wonderful scents
These shower steamers have a variety of amazing scents yet they are not overpowering. I like the choices depending on what I need; a pick me up in the morning or a relaxing evening. I don’t take a hot shower so I have to moisten the disc to release the scent then I put it in a corner of the shower. My showers are quick, one steamer will last for more than one shower. I really like these and I think they are a great buy for 8. I would definitely get these to give as gifts, party favors, door prizes or a secret Santa gift.
