School Zone fast emerged as the market leader in workbooks and flashcards for preschoolers through sixth graders.

From the Publisher
Time-Tested Tools
Our learning materials have helped educate three generations of kids, creating life-long learners, and the legacy continues. Digital content, flash cards, workbooks, readers, toys and games—all are crafted through a child’s eyes, while integrating parent and teacher standards.
Writing by Hand Improves Memory
Writing in workbook pages, as opposed to typing on a computer, can help kids focus and learn. Writing by hand fires up specific areas of a child’s brain, improving the ability to both remember what he or she learns and to think of new ideas.
Longer Retention
Kids and parents who use our flash cards for practice testing are using one of the most effective learning techniques available. A hundred years of research shows practice testing is highly likely to boost retention.
Reading Has Lifelong Benefits
A love of reading has been proven to have far-reaching benefits for children, emotionally and academically. And children who enjoy reading become confident readers and read more often.
Kids Love Technology
School Zone’s digital content supports children’s learning goals by enhancing problem-solving and critical thinking, as well as reinforcing skills through multisensory activities. It also improves language skills, increases motivation to stay on task, and stimulates curiosity and imagination.
Not Just for Fun
When kids play games together, they learn a healthy sense of competition and experience the joy of winning and empathy for losing. Along the way, they learn collaboration, cooperation, and problem-solving. Creative play stimulates imagination and nurtures emotional well-being.

Great over all!
I ordered this to decide if this will work for homeschooling two of my children. My son did the abeka Kindergarten to much to soon he is repeating. It was a great program however its more book work less fun. Looking through this program, I think my family will enjoy this more so many upsides. More games, shorter book work, fun things to discuss, and simple grading scale on bottom of page. I will also be adding to this to kit with the learning to read phonics and a additional math work book. This learning kit isn’t a just do the pages type of learning it will take more teaching and games for this to work. I also don’t feel it touches the math segment enough with counting 20-100, no money segment, or telling of time segment. With that said an additional work book, lots of hands on teaching, and games your child can thrive. What stands out me with the extras provided; cards are on the small side, dry eraser marker isn’t fine tip, the page cover is handy, a fun word spacer for sentence writing, fun simple games, and simple case for personal material. The best part of the work books to me; incorporates fine motor tasks, increases comprehension, Color full pages, touches science, and creates conversation. Our homeschooling style is a relaxed structured school day so structured with our out pulling teeth. We also want to keep up with the education system as far as standards. Make kindergarten fun check out this set just remember this isn’t really a full learning program like it says to my family. However depending on how you do home school it may be! Also would recommend this in place of preschool if your child is a quick eager learner! best thing of home schooling is you can see what grade your child is really in. I will be using this for my 4 year old girl and 6 year old boy with learning difficulties this late august. The kids are excited to start using these books just as much as I am. I can see both of them being fully prepared for first grade next year 🙂
