    Great for skill building
I like this product. My child’s teacher recommended that we keep our 5 year old using scissors over the summer to keep him from forgetting how to cut while school is out. The product is pretty simple; it’s a pair of children’s scissors, 3 tracing templates and some printed shapes to cut to create projects, but it’s exactly what I was looking for at a reasonable price. I like these scissors so much better than the other kid’s scissors we have. The templates are brightly colored which got my kids interested. Practicing with this set is a nice break from the iPad but not as messy as most crafts.

    Great Value
The stencils are of great quality and are thicker than anticipated. It comes with three sheets to create three different objects (house, rocket, and boat). They can only be used once. I have two children interested in tracing, so I’ll figure out how to make that work. We have more than one pair of scissors on hand, so that’s no issue. I don’t know if I should purchase it again at $10.

Great for practicing cutting and tracing skills!
I got this for my 4 year old daughter who was always begging to use scissors at home. It’s been a big hit! The tracing patterns are made of thick plastic and feel sturdy. My daughter loves tracing out shapes and then cutting them out with the scissors. It doesn’t come with a lot of paper like other reviewers have noted, but we just use regular paper that we have at home. I love that it’s letting my daughter practice her cutting skills without worrying that she’ll cut herself! Great product!

    High quality stencils
I had the opportunity to try out this scissor skill kit. My 3 year old and his friend really enjoyed playing with the stencils! I really liked the quality of the stencils. They are very thick and sturdy. The scissors are typical kid scissors. My son doesn’t quite get how to use the scissors, but he’s working on it. I would highly recommend the kit, particularly due to the high quality of the stencils.

    Great toddler scissors
I bought this for my almost three year old son to practise his scissor and fine motor skills while he’s in quarantine and out of preschool. Cuts paper so long as the paper is taut. I’m glad I don’t have to worry about him cutting himself with these (although we still only let him use them under direct supervision). Great buy!

    Scissors fall apart easily
So maybe there’s an adult learning curve to using these safety scissors. I tried using the scissors to show my 3-year-old how to hold the scissors and cut paper. I popped the pivot button at least 5 times while trying to cut paper. Then when my son tried, he also popped the button. It’s easy to put back together, but I was quickly losing my son’s interest in this new activity since it wasn’t working right. The stencils are cute, but (at least for now) we are only able to use 2 out of the 3 stencils. One sheet has lines to trace, but only if you use something with a sharp or skinny tip. Crayons or fat washable markers don’t work since they never reach the paper below.

Is a good product is you have a toddler who likes to cut everything and is is to teach them the right way. Good size for kids and you gone have 10 minutes free.

    2歳児がひとりで使っていても安心して見ていられます。紙を切るには十分な切れ味で、子供が楽しく遊んでいます。

  11. Sylvie Bellemare
