I bought this numbers and animals book as a birthday gift for my 2-year-old son, and he absolutely loves it! It was the perfect choice to spark both his love for animals and early learning.Educational Value:This book does a fantastic job introducing numbers in a fun and engaging way. Each page focuses on a different number, paired with cute animal illustrations that help reinforce counting skills through repetition and visual cues.Illustrations:The pictures are bright, bold, and super adorable. My son loves pointing at the animals and trying to name them. The visuals are clear and age-appropriate—perfect for capturing a toddler’s attention.Durability:The pages are thick and sturdy—ideal for small hands and frequent use. My son has flipped through it daily since his birthday, and it’s holding up really well.Interactivity:He loves counting the animals out loud with the book which us a plus and additional excitement for him and making their sounds—it’s become part of our daily routine. It’s a great way to bond and build early language and number recognition.Perfect Gift:As a birthday gift, this book was a hit. It’s both fun and educational, and I can already see him learning while enjoying every page. I’d definitely recommend it to other parents of toddlers.Final Thoughts:If you’re looking for a book that’s both playful and purposeful for a young child, this is a fantastic pick. LeapFrog Scout and Violet 100 Words Interactive Book
The LeapFrog Scout and Violet 100 Words Interactive Book is fantastic for young learners! My toddler loves pressing the buttons to hear Scout and Violet say the words, and it’s a fun, interactive way to build vocabulary. The bright, engaging illustrations and simple, clear words make it easy for little ones to follow along. The sound quality is great, and it holds my child’s attention without being overwhelming. It’s an excellent tool for early learning, and we use it every day. I’ve seen noticeable progress in my child’s word recognition and speech development. Highly recommend for young kids!

The speech is great, nice and clear
The audio is great, the person speaking has great diction and is very easy to understand. My son is 1 and already learning to appreciate books. he goes to his box of books and reach for this one a lot so he can flip the pages and press buttons for sounds/songs. Seems pretty durable, the size is perfect and the colors are bright and make for a fun toy. I would say once the child understands the concept it definitely makes for an entertaining toy. The more they touch the page the more curious they’ll become…also love that it has 2 languages!!!

    Great for language skill!
I bought this for my 1 year old and he loves to sit and touch all of the pictures. He doesn’t stay for long with it but he always comes back to it. I love that it’s not too big, it has 2 different volume settings, it is bilingual and has SO many different settings. It is great for language exposure for many different words. It has also been thrown around (by the toddler) and has held up very well!

    Great toy that’s also educational!
Very educational! My toddler favorite toy at moment. She is 18 months and not talking just quite yet on her own but she loves to hear the sounds and try to repeat them. I also use it as a tool to help her identify the words by asking her to point to the item and she sees if she can identify it. The sound quality is great and the item is a prefect size for my toddler to hold and carry her self. The pages are bright, clear to read, and durable.

OK – would suggest some changes
I bought this book to help with teaching my 15 month-old words. I am disappointed by some of the vocab choices in this book. For example, on the animals page, there’s a pony. Now is not the time to try and teach the difference between a horse and a pony. Additionally, every other time a horse is shown at this age it’s called a horse and not a pony. I wish they would have kept things like this in mind so that the book could be more useful for its intended purpose. I also wish it didn’t have the little star button in the bottom corner. Because this is the only thing that actually looks like a button, it’s what my child wants to constantly press and it adds no value.Other than these things, I think the book is good and I’m hoping it will help my child expand his vocabulary, especially as he gets older.

    For educational purposes
This is a very strong book. It is really hard to destroy. It has a loud volume that can be controlled. Helps my kids to know different animals and there sounds. It’s easy to function just a simple touch and it works perfect love this would definitely recommend.

    Won’t put it down
My granddaughter loves this thing. She carries it with her around the house. Pressing the buttons and often looking at me saying see! She wants to share and has not ripped any of the pages out which has with other books.

    うちは夫の母国語がスペイン語なのですが、普段日本語が多く、子ども達の良い教材を探していました。イングリッシュもついていて本当に便利。ひとつで2カ国語学べて助かります。

This toy is interactive, informative and just amazing. My 14 months old likes to press the star button for music. The size is also nice for travel. Price point is great too. I got it on sale for $25 SGD. Leap Frog never fails to impress our family and little one.
