Be sure to protect the surface youâre working on. Itâs pretty messy. Paint is watery, I suggest using paintbrushes, otherwise children squeeze out too much. Little ones donât understand how to regulate the power of their squeezing tubes at 4 years old. I had to help my grandchildren a LOT. Not an independent activity.

Cute but fades very quickly
I love the idea of interchangeable parts to mix and match the suncatcher unicorns, but I was very disappointed to find how quickly the paint colors faded. We purchased this kit in mid-January, our daughter got around to making this one a couple of weeks later, and it’s already faded after one month in an east-facing window (in winter sunshine). The pink sections used to be purple; the pink and blue paints have faded to almost white; and the green sections have turned lime green. It’s kind of ironic that I chose this set because I didn’t see any reviews re: fading colors (unlike other sets’ reviews). If it wasn’t for the fading, I’d give this 5 stars.

Fun and Easy
I bought this for my 7 yr old granddaughter.. They were easy and fun, the end result was cute, made minimal mess and my granddaughter really enjoyed doing it.

It’s like a coloring book but 3D & kids really like it. I have bought almost all the variants & all were well loved. Minimal oversight is needed especially with younger kids but mess free & easy to use otherwise. Also teaches patience as they wait for it to dry. Will buy again ð
