Best Adaptive Stylus for Promoting a Proper Pencil Grasp
As an Occupational Therapist, I 100% recommend this product. It helps promote a proper/functional pencil grasp naturally without the child realizing it. I love that it doesn’t need to be charged and doesn’t require batteries. I love that in order for it to activate one HAS TO have their index finger in the loop and on the sensor. The design is so simple, but so effective. I have used this with many of my Occupational Therapy students and have seen great success with promoting a proper pencil grasp. This is my second one of these products that I have purchased. The one I got prior is about 1 years old– I have used it with some special ed students that can be somewhat rough with materials (attempting to stretch the loop, putting their mouth on the end of the stylus, throwing it, etc). I can say that this device can take a beating and still function perfectly. Can’t recommend this product enough!

Improvement in 10 Minutes
I have been getting concerned that my 5 year old was practicing all of her writing in the wrong way – that is, holding the pencil incorrectly and doing incorrect strokes. She’s one of those kids that hates being corrected too. Her first instinct is to dig in to what she is doing. She just started kindergarten and I realized very quickly that I did not want homework to be a battle of wills every night. I did my online poking around, and am so glad I ran across this pen. I ordered it, downloaded the iTrace app on my ipad. PERFECT. We are literaly 20 minutes in and I already see improvement. She is growing more confident with every stroke, and no battle of wills. LOVE. Great price too.
