    Very useful
    Works great on threading needles.

    GREAT idea, FAILED execution
NEW process needle-threading made easier sounds GREAT. Would rather have paid same price for 2 or even 1 smoothly-working devices, intead of 3 disfunctional received. Rough injection molding burrs. Ironically, TOO DIFFICULT to open poorly-executed closure detents. Threading itself MIGHT be easier than current regular process, but too damn difficult to get to it regularly. Threw away into plastics recycling

A lot of fuss when a simple needle threader will do the job a LOT BETTER!
The premise of this device is to put the eye of the needle over the tiny metal hook, and while it is there, loop a thread over the metal hook with enough tension to hold the thread still… while you pull the needle up at least an inch or two away from the hook. THAT ALONE takes quite a bit of dexterity if you use the little one that flips out from the end. If you’re like me, you got this contraption BECAUSE you don’t have the hand dexterity in the first place! I could do it, but only because I’m stubborn and kept at it. The other needle threader is easiER. Not exactly easy, but better than the first one. Locate the short end opposite the round end with the silver flippy wire. Notice that the large piece of plastic along the long edge is spring-loaded and you can push it in. BE CAREFUL, because when you push it in, a tiny wire hook comes out about ½” from the end. Play with it a couple of times with either hand, so you know how much pressure it takes to press/hold it in. Note, too, the hole in the short flat end. Your needle will go in the hole on that short flat end, EYE FIRST. The eye must be turned so you can see through it into the ‘hook hole.’ Now, press the side spring-loaded edge and the hook *should* go through the eye of the needle and completely out of the hole. Hold it there. Hahahaha! Use your other hand to pinch your thread into a tiny loop and lay it down over the hook and hold it down with some tension. Let go of the spring bar. The thread is pulled back into the device. Slowly pull up on the needle. If it binds, you may have to press the bar a little bit to relieve tension on the thread, but the idea is to pull the thread free from the device. YOU AREN’T FINISHED! Notice that a LOOP is through the eye of the needle only. It takes a bit more finagling to pull one end of the loop (one free thread) through the eye without pulling the other end too. I hope my pictures help a little.I can see how this might help if the end of your thread is frayed. But if you have trouble with hand strength like I do, a regular needle threader is so much simpler!

    These really work!
These are wonderful for my aging eyes and hands. They are a bit flimsy, so time will tell, but so far, so good. They even came sooner than anticipated.

    Don’t Buy
Does not work. I tried several times and it was hit and miss. There were no instructions with the product. I do not recommend this product. It’s flimsy and doesn’t work as directed.

  7. Ann

    Broke easily
Kind of hard to use and broke easily

  8. Phyllis T

    Really like this.
Success and hard to misplace, the bright colors are helpful.
