Best iron vitamins for infants and toddlers
People hating this product because of the smell are really naive about this kind of vitamin. To make it liquid and keep it be simply vitamins without additives like it would have if it was chew-able, it’s not gonna smell or taste pretty. Put the stuff in their bottle once daily. Or a juice. Seriously, they’re not gonna notice. My twins take this once daily in their nap time bottles and have never had an issue with it. And these two are picky little turds about their formula.

Works great, mix it in with juice
This works great for my 2 year old daughter who takes it every morning. I mix the Poly Vi Sol with a mixture of half orange juice and half water and my daughter doesn’t mind at all and drinks all of her juice without knowing that her vitamins are in the juice. Poly Vi Sol has helped to keep her healthy and keeps down on the spread of germs in our house. Great product!

Yes it smells and tastes terrible – it’s a multivitamin with iron and does not …
Yes it smells and tastes terrible – it’s a multivitamin with iron and does not have added sweeteners as stated right on the box. It masks well enough with milk (not so much with diluted juices) and the baby still drinks the bottle with no problem. Does the job – the baby is getting his vitamins.

HORRIBLE SMELL AND TASTE
Our infant cannot bear to have even a drop of this in his mouth – and we don’t blame him! The smell is absolutely abhorrent and I cannot believe that anyone on earth could stomach this liquid after having just smelled it. After finally persuading our infant to take about a drop of it in his mouth (mixed with milk) he began gagging and dry-heaving. Our pediatrician recommended an iron supplement but there is no way this product could ever be tolerated by many infants based on the odor and taste. We even tried mixing a very small dose with powdered peanut butter and milk to cover the odor/taste but even the smallest portion of this supplement will overpower any other odor/taste of whatever it is mixed with. You’d have better luck getting someone to drink kerosene than this.DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PRODUCT! It should be illegal to sell and considered abuse to try to get your infant to eat it.
