Not for small children
Just got these and they are hard to push to open. A small child will not be strong enough to push the top button. Im giving 4 stars as the inside of the lid does NOT look easy to clean. It says you can soak it for 10 mins in hot soapy water or top rack of dishwasher. There is a small slit to drink thru and you have to push the top half of the button to auto slide back the stopper to drink. It says dont carry these in a bag where the button can get bumped. UMMM who DOESNT put these in a bag? So hoping they will work good.

No leak issues
Very durable, easy to wash. It is easy to use once they find out how to use the bottom which can be a little hard at first. I like that it has to options it can open up little or all the way with a push of the button. We have had no leak issues.

NO leaking, durable
Weâve tried several different water bottles for our kids ages 2-5 and all of them eventually leaked except these ones. These have withstood the throwing, dropping, gnawing, etc. of two rambunctious boys and regular dishwasher cycles. The learning curve for pressing the button to drink has been well-worth the long-term durability. With the slim design, they also fit much easier in a variety of cup holders.

The old auto seal bottles were better
We have had a few old design Contigo auto seal bottles along the way and they held up very well. No problems with leaking and the part that seals the spout can be popped open to ensure the cap gets cleanse thoroughly via hand or dishwasher. There was also a flap that covers the spout to keep it clean when you toss it into a bag. Alas- my kids have lost most of them and we are down to one. I was excited to see the new bottles because they are a bit slimmer and easier to hold. Thatâs where the positive ends for us. These new caps are much harder to take off the bottle for cleaning and unlike the older bottles, you canât push the auto seal mechanism open to give the cap a good rinse because itâs sealed in the middle of the cap. The only way to rinse it is to manually squeeze the cap so that it stays open and you can run it under water. Water still remains trapped in the middle of the cap even though we left it out to dry over night. I can see mold easily building up there. Thatâs one of my big pet peeves about many kids water bottles. The caps are often hard to wash because of the space in between the caps and unfortunately these bottles fall into that category.

I now prefer these bottles over CamelBak. I like they there are not as much tubes and straws. It is easy to clean, I soak the bottles overnight. It has fallen to the ground countless times and waan’t broken. It’s also very good value for money.

My nephew is really hard on his stuff, but these water bottles are AMAZING. They are actually leak proof. Most claim to be and arenât, but these ones really are leak proof. My 5 year old nephew is easily able to push the button to drink from it. I wouldnât hesitate to buy these again and highly recommend them.
