In 2006, we founded Aelga with a simple mission: build the salt shaker we’d use every day. It began as a family effort to help make life easier for Grandma Amy, because she was having a hard time in the kitchen with her arthritic hands.
After brainstorming through many ideas, such as the combination of different materials and ergonomic functions, we settled on a lighthouse shaped salt shaker.

It’s a very nifty sugar dispenser, even though the size is smaller than I envisioned. This is tabletop size…if you want to add sugar to your cereal.I wanted something for the cabinet…larger but I’ll keep this. It’s really nice. And order something larger for storage.
