Hmmm, country of origin China. I am trying this beauty care set out to see if it can give some of the beauty products I use now a run for their money. At the price point advertised, it should at least be comparable to a low to low-mid price range of beauty care products. Right off the bat, I love the 24K gold foil facial cleanser. Anything that glitters ..!! I only needed to use a small amount, about pea size, to clean my neck and face. it didn’t lather up much, which shows that they don’t add those extra ingredients that cause unnecessary foaming. It doesn’t rinse right off, I had to purposely rinse my face and not just splash water at it. But, my face and neck felt squeaky clean with no residue left on my skin. As pretty as the gold in the cleanser was, I don’t feel it left any shimmer on my skin. The toner isn’t alcohol based like some toners, more of a gel consistency. It is moisturizing and my skin sucks it right up. My skin felt soft but had enough texture to be ready for the rest of my skincare routine. About the only brightening value I can see would be the tiny gold flecks floating around in the solution, but there aren’t enough to have more than a couple of flecks per use and I found they came off my skin easily. The lotion isn’t creamy like the lotions I am used to, it is more like a serum. It soaks right into my skin, with no stickiness. I do miss the satisfaction of a cream based lotion though. Like the previous products, there are gold flakes floating in the serum but none came out in the first couple of applications. I believe the gold flakes are more aesthetics of the product and not any actual usefulness. It does add a luxury feel to the kit. The luxury skin cream is another product that is more of a serum and not a cream. Really, it is much more like a gel. It is actually quite sticky. I don’t really like this product, but I can see where it would be helpful when applying makeup afterwards as it would help the makeup adhere to the skin better. I don’t feel it added in making my skin softer though, at least not used in conjunction with the other products. The night repair eye cream was a failure in the product design look, but is an ok eye cream. It came in a small bottle with, what looked like, small ampules of eye repair serum. But, upon opening the bottle, a lot of the ampules had busted open and the rest were dissolving. So, I couldn’t remove one ampule at a time to use, but had to dip my finger in to remove some of the serum to use on my eyes. Again, not a cream, a gelatinous serum. The product is ok, but a bit sticky. The 3 bottles of luxury repair serum, is what it says it is, a serum. This one seems to have a bit of oil in it and goes on my skin nicely. It does have a bit of tackiness as it dries. I don’t know why they put 3 bottles of this serum in the kit, it would have been much more practical to just put it in one bottle. They probably did it to beef up the kit and make it seem like you get more. Finally, the egg white lady cream. Funny description. A very thick, white cream in a tiny container that seems to lighten and even out skin tone. A tiny bit will do. I don’t know where the snail slime is in these products. I’ve heard it is the new trend in some products, but I just don’t know anything about it. These products seem about as effective as other skin care products in this price range, maybe a little more gimmicky with the gold flakes floating in some of them. There was barely any scent to these products and if I did notice it, it was a clean, soap like smell. The products don’t appear to irritate my super sensitive skin, so, it would probably be ok for most people. I think this is a nice affordable kit for skincare and would make a nice gift.Those gold flakes do make it feel extra bougie.
