The Lugabug travel seat is a fully collapsible suitcase accessory that attaches to a standard carry-on roller bag and converts into a comfy seat, providing a stroller-free option for child transport.
CHILD REQUIREMENTS – Your child must be 28 to 42 inches in height and 24 to 40 lbs in weight. Your child must be mobile, able to walk or climb unassisted. The Lugabug is not for babies/toddlers who are not yet walking.
SUITCASE REQUIREMENTS – Use a carry-on roller suitcase that tilts with two fixed inline wheels, or a hybrid design with two fixed inline wheels and two 360° spinner wheels. Use soft side luggage made from durable nylon or polyester. Your suitcase may fold under extra weight if not fully packed.
SAFETY & COMFORT – Equipped with a safety lap-strap and quick release buckle, the Lugabug allows you to keep your child close while on the move. Its interior is lined with breathable spacer mesh, and the seat and backside are padded to create a hammock-like experience.
DURABLE & EASY-TO-USE – Weighing just 1.5 lbs the Lugabug stores easily by folding flat when not in use. Designed for durability and stability, this portable chair is sewn with 1200 denier nylon, reinforced stitching, and structural inserts. Adjust straps to secure Lugabug tightly to your luggage before use. With a firm grip on handle at all times and child secured, tilt the luggage and off you go.

Lifesaver at the airport
It was my first time traveling by myself with my 4yo. We had 3 flights and 2 connections, one of which was in LAX which I knew from experience was a LONG walk to the international terminal. The lugabug was a lifesaver! Transiting through the airport was made extremely easy because of this, and my daughter loved riding on it too.Our second flight was very delayed, and we had airline staff meet passengers on tight connecting flights outside the gate when we deplaned, put stickers on us and ushered us through the airport to expedite the process. We breezed through the Hong Kong airport with the lugabug (with me brisk walking for about 10-15 minutes); am not sure we would have made our connection without this product.I saw reviews that said this works better on softsided luggage, but my softsided carryon has a finicky zipper and I didnât want to chance it, so I used a hard shell, 4-wheel spinner and it was fine. I love that it zips to flat when not being used so that it doesnât stick out.Tips:- Extend the telescoping handle and tilt the luggage BEFORE your child gets on, instead of it being mostly upright when they get on and then tilting back. This distributes the weight better and provides less stress to your bag.- Make sure your child is centered on the lugabug; if theyâre shifted to one side you will feel that the bag is unbalanced while you are walking. I just tell/remind my daughter to scoot her butt to the middle.- Not sure if this was supposed to come with a lap belt/strap, mine didnât and at first I was concerned my daughter might fall off, but it was actually fine without. She will naturally be leaning back against the bag because the bag is tilted while Iâm walking. I look over my shoulder every now and then to check on her and sheâs always been fine; I think youâll feel (while walking) rather than see if your child is not stable in the seat.We received a lot of compliments and more importantly it did exactly what I got it for – get me and my child efficiently through the airport.

Great product by great people
We have been using Lugabug for past half year (with multiple international trips), and are amused by durability, compactness, and how handy it is at an airport. There has been many times the little ones legs are tired, and the price is such small thing to pay to not need to carry a child in arm with the luggage/stress you already have at airport. One of the buckle broke when we dropped the luggage by accident, so we reached out through email, and Jennie and Jon has been such a delight to talk to. We bonded over having multiple kids, and they were so kind to send the part we need immediately! Really appreciate this product, great product by great people. Thank you Jennie and Jon!

Good option
It worked in our situation well enough. My one-year-old is a little over 20lbs and seemed to like the ride ok, but it was hard to make it so she wasnât sitting crooked in it. I have distrust of airlines handling my stroller with care, so this was a good option to avoid this when I was traveling with just myself and my little one. It fit well into my carry-on when I arrived at my gate.

This works
I bought this because I do not travel enough to buy a $200 riding suitcase, but I was traveling with my two year old and a lot of stuff so I needed something to transport him while my husband and I held and pulled everything else. It worked great. I noticed others comment that it tips over if you are not tilting it up and that is true, you canât really just set it down. I do not recommend it to anyone traveling alone with their child. Someone needs to be tilting it at all times. We got so many comments while using this. People at the airport were asking us to take pictures of it because they wanted one for themselves. I did tip him over sideways a couple of time while I was getting used to it, but he was not phased. I used this on a small carry on suitcase. I imagine it would work even better on a bigger suitcase.

Luggage seat maybe for a small child 1 yrs.
It didnât work how it did in the video I watched before purchasing this item. It was easy to put on but didnât seat my child well. She seemed uneven and unsecured.

Dangerous
If kid goes to sleep would fall to the size and bam head with something no good real life experience rather travel with stroller after this bad experience

Saved me!!!
This seat absolutely saved me on my trip alone with my toddler!!!! My daughter is 2.5 and a little over 30 pounds with no issues riding in the seat. Itâs easy to strap onto my carry on luggage. With how the seat sits itâs hard to buckle my daughter in because my suitcase kind of falls on top of her, so i just leave her unbuckled when she rides in it. I hold the handle on my suitcase and lean it back just a bit so she can sit down and ride. I recommend wheel protectors so your wheels donât wear down from the extra weight. The seat holds up well and was so so helpful getting through a huge airport without having to carry my daughter. I couldnât recommend it enough!

Itâs ok
You need 2 adults to be able to navigate this. Definitely not for solo travel. Baby also slid off the sides a few times

Amazing invention! Small and compact, yet sturdy. We travel a lot and have had an abundance of compliments from strangers throughout the airport asking where they can find one.Such a great idea.

Only usable for kids with very low weight. Not the best item during travelling.

Traveling with 3 kids below 5 this was an amazing thing to have. We used a larger trolley and I was expecting to have to hold it down (as Iâm tall$ to keep the balance but I could walk up straight and pull the trolley with my 5 yo on it. Worth the money!

Ist echt super handlich. Ich hätte nur den Sitz mit etwas hartes unterliegt . Sonnst nix auszusetzen. Werden es auf unsere lange Reise mal richtig ausprobieren.
