Munchkin® Silicone Scoop™ Trainer Spoons with Choke Guard for Baby Led Weaning, 4 Count, Blue/Green
$14.02

Let’s face it. Babies love chewing on straws and spoons, and sometimes that can veer into dangerous territory. This multitasking toddler spoon set was designed with several common self-feeding issues in mind. Made of ultra soft silicone that’s easy on babies’ gums, each spoon features a first-of-its-kind choke guard that acts as a spoon rest at the same time. The unique anti-choking feature prevents spoons from going beyond a safe point in their mouths and keeps tips off tables and floors (an otherwise Herculean feat!). Take mealtime to the next level of safety and cleanliness with Gentle Scoop toddler spoons.
Pack of 4 silicone training spoons, ideal for baby led weaning
Choke guard promotes safe self-feeding and doubles as a spoon rest, keeping spoon tip off table
BPA free, food grade silicone
Designed for little hands and perfect for babies to hold
Soft silicone is durable and gentle on gums

First choice for toddlers, soft and flexible.
Perfect for toddlers learning to feed themselves. The spoons are soft and chewable, no sharp edges. Just hand wash mine but they can go in dishwasher. I used my set for two grandkids. Great choice for toddlers.

Easy to use spoons
Iâm so glad i bought these for my daughter. The spoon portion itself is slightly bigger than the metal handle ones we have, and smaller than a spoon that came with a plate set. Itâs also very soft and flexible for the teething baby to chew on. Itâs easy for my daughter to grab, and I love the little shield to teach her where to hold the spoon but also stop the spoon from going too far into her mouth. Best part, too rack dishwasher safe for easy washing to enjoy for the next meals

Best spoons so far
I’ve tried only a few spoons – the NumNum, lalo, b.box… This munchkin one wins by a landslide. The choke guard is KEY!!! Plus my kiddo likes to use this thing as a chew toy. Spoon is the right size for loading food. Back end of the spoon is large enough that kiddo can put it in his mouth to soothe teething, but he won’t gag himself. Good size for gripping. Plus you can’t beat the price for the quality of the spoon. It’s soft but not flimsy. Basically perfect.

Great spoons!
These spoons are perfect for feeding and letting my baby feed herself. The little stopper helps protect her from putting the entire spoon in her mouth and the silicone easy to wash is great!

1 Year of solid foods – My Spoon Review
Hope this quick comparison helps all you new parents out there!1. By far my favorite of the spoons. The curved handle makes it very easy for my daughter to feed herself, and it is easy for us to feed her as well with it.2. This is the best spoon for when I am feeding my daughter. It is the perfect size for me feeding her, it is soft but not so soft that it flexes significantly. It is not as good for when she feeds herself, as the handle is too long.3. Great for my daughter feeding herself. Very soft and the guard makes it impossible for baby to choke on the spoon. It is also very easy to grip due to the very wide handle. A very good first spoon to use when introducing solid foods to your baby. The only downside is that due to the thickness of the plastic, you can’t get much food/puree per scoop.4. My least favorite of the spoons. It is far too thin and the shape makes it difficult to put much food or puree on it. Also, it is harder to grip than any of the other spoons. The only good thing about this spoon is that it is VERY soft, so it is very safe to give your baby.5. Like #2, the long handle makes it good for me feeding my daughter — not so much for her feeding herself. Whatever type of plastic this spoon uses is slightly harder to clean than the rest of the spoons (especially in our dishwasher) which makes it harder for me to recommend. The shallowness of this spoon and slightly more “seamless” design means you better be careful or you’ll be spilling a lot of puree!

Genius Baby Spoons.
I love these spoons.1. They *almost* always prevent our baby from gagging himself (sometimes he still finds a way, but it’s much better than the average spoon).2. Our 8 month old can maneuver these really well because of the short and thick handles.3. They seem to be great quality. We have other silicone baby spoons that have the plastic interior exposed through the silicone in some places, and that just became a great place to chew, which ended up breaking the silicone, and then they became trash because they got so gross under the silicone… these spoons don’t have any of the interior plastic exposed to create an easy breaking point in the silicone.4. When your baby drops the spoon on the ground 500 times per meal, 499 of those times the actual spoon portion doesn’t touch the ground because the neck holds it up. And the handle seems to weight it down so the spoon always ends up pointing up. It’s like the cat of baby spoons…always seems to land properly no matter how it’s dropped.Seriously, don’t get any other baby spoon, just get these. My only regret is that I didn’t know about these with my first child.

Choke guard safe
I love that they are choke guard safe for my baby. She loves being independent so these training spoons definitely give me peace of mind knowing she wonât choke. Highly recommend if youâre started solids.

Love these spoons. Kid was very small for age so only fit well at about 1 year+ . Still using now at 2 years and she loves it. Nice wide handle which is short and has a stopper so she doesnt put the spoon too far in (and gag). At first the food got stuck around the stopper but it was much better when she grew bit bigger and the spoon fit !
