My teen daughter bought this for her younger sister. It is sturdy and colorful. It comes in a gorgeous diamond shaped box with a cleaning cloth. The chain is delicate, but has held up to the rough and tumble 1st grader that wears it. It is a beautiful piece and the price is beyond reasonable. I love the versatility since it could easily be for mother/daughter, sisters, grandmother to granddaughter, etc. It is a solid piece with a strong double link to thread the chain through. I purchased this necklace for my daughters about a year ago of course it said you were my daughters instead of my mother they loved it they wear it all the time and it has not tarnished. It is sterling silver I just purchased one for my mother about a month ago and she wears it all the time even in the shower. The chain that comes with it is very nice and itâs not cheap looking.
