    Fun learning game
My granddaughter just turned 6 and this was a birthday gift. She loved playing the game, sounding out the words and putting the letter cubes on the rack. The she lowered panel to expose the spelling on the picture card and was so excited to see if she got it right! She loved it! Great learning game!

    Preschool age grandchildren LOVED it!
Purchased as birthday gift for 5-year old grandson. He (and his siblings) played with it immediately and really like it. It is very helpful for spelling, word recognition, phonics, and small motor skill development. They enjoyed it so much I bought a second one to keep at our house for all my grandkids to enjoy. Highly reommend!

Cute idea and it works mostly
The idea is simple and it works so overall I’d recommend it. My son enjoys finding the letters to match the words. My main complaint (hence 4 stars) is that certain cards can’t be solved. For instance, one card says HAT but there is no H on any cube. One card has EGG but only one cube has a G. So this can never be solved. That’s really not good and should not be included. The construction feels cheap so it’s certainly not giftable. One tricky aspect is that sometimes the same letter will appear on a few cubes and another letter is on one of the those cubes. For instance GET. If you use the cube that has a G and a T for the T, then you’ll never find the G on another cube. Instead you have to find the other cube with a T so that you can use the first cube for the T. You could argue that this adds a certain challenge, which is a good thing.

    Wonderful Product, Fantastic Customer Service
My daughter LOVES this set! She’s already reading some words / books, but she’s still needing confidence, and this is just the tool for that. She’s excited to not only READ the words, but to be able to sound them out, and put them together on her own. We home school, and this will certainly become a staple in our daily reading rotation! Her older sister and her like to play “school”, and they’ve dug into this already on their own. I love the confidence that it’s given my 4 year old, and the simple interaction for both kids. I highly suggest it. Also, you can’t beat the customer service from this company. I got an email this morning. They were just reaching out to let me know that if I had any issues, to please let them know. I have complete confidence that HAD there been an issue, they’d have fixed it immediately. It arrived in perfect condition, very quickly, and we love it! Thank you for a great product!

    Well worth the money.
This game is magical. Seriously. I have a 7 year old who is severely struggling with reading, and a 4 year old who is starting to get into reading more fluently. The seven year old fought me to even get him to sit down and play this game. However, once he started playing this, he actually enjoyed it. It still weirds me out. I can’t tell you if it helped him overall with his reading struggles, but I can tell you that for a good thirty minutes, he was doing something educational without complaint and actually seemed……happy……to be reading and spelling. Just a side note, There isn’t much “game” to this. It isn’t an activity that really translates well into taking turns and having a winner. So this would not make for a fun family game night.

    Great for beginning readers/spellers
I purchased this set for my 4 y.o. daughter who is learning to read and spell. She absolutely loves it! After explaining to her that the letters are underlined, meaning that the line goes at the bottom, and not every cube has every letter, she caught on very quickly. It does take a little problem solving for the child to find the unique letters first (like the Y) and then look for the other letters on other cubes. She is so proud of herself each time she spells a word. Due to COVID-19 we are missing Montessori preschool right now, but this set is great for helping her to build her skills. Highly recommend!

    A bit flawed…
The product is a good product in terms of condition. Unfortunately, there is a flaw in the design because not every word can be spelled, unless you use one of the dice that you are already using and switch them out. If the kids weren’t so young, it wouldn’t be too much of a problem, but they don’t understand to do that or even why they have to.
