My 2 1/2 year old grandson was SOOO happy to have his very own backpack! I had noticed that he would go over to his mommies backpack, sitting on the floor, put his arms through the straps and just stand there. Pretty funny! I loaded the lunch box with drinks and snacks. (I was worried he would have difficulty with the zipper, but it is so nicely sewn, it was easy for him to open and close.) I put the lunchbox, along with some books in the backpack and there was still plenty of room for more. I adjusted the straps to make them as short as they would go. It was still a little long, but certainly wearable. He was so proud to show his mom that he had a backpack just like her! He had lots of fun going through everything I packed inside. The way the flap opens to reveal the inside of the mouth is so cute! I found the quality to be excellent. I think he will be able to wear it for several years before he outgrows it. Very pleased.

My son loved the lunchbox that came with this purchase. However, I didn’t like that the lunchbox did not include a cup or a sandwich container, which I had to buy separately.

The bag is small enough for a 2+ year old to carry. Ths shoulder straps aren’t soft, but they have a mesh type design to help in staying on their tiny shoulders. The pencil case is a mice touch too, and will come in handy when the time comes for its usage. Quality seems decent and durable. So far, so good, and would recommend this for any toddler starting off their school/daycare journey.

This bag was very flimsy which was a bummer as it was really nice design and concept. Had to return as it would have not lasted long
