Great Concept but Wish It Were Flat
I run my life from lists, so I keep little 3×4-inch pads of paper handy so that I can quickly jot down my thoughts throughout the day. Then I consolidate all those little sheets of paper onto my master To Do list each evening. I was intrigued by this product, as I thought I could use this instead of my mini pads of paper for the same purpose: just jot down all my quick thoughts on this white board, transfer them to my master list, and then erase the board. So I actually ordered two of these boards: one for my kitchen island on the main floor and the other for my bedroom desk upstairs (the two places where I keep stacks of the mini pads of paper). Immediately, I could tell the one on the kitchen island wasn’t going to work as is. First, counter space on that island is at a premium, so I need something that can be “tucked away” or stacked under something else when not in immediate use. But that’s not possible with this angled board: you can’t place anything on top – it’ll just slide right off. Second, I really need something longer than wide to write my quick thoughts on – like a normal pad of paper. But you can’t really turn this board 90 degrees because of its angled design. It’s really awkward to try to write on the board with it leaning either to the left or to the right. Not willing to give up on an otherwise nice product, I took design matters into my own hands and sawed off the angled part of the wooden frame and then just placed my own rubber pads on the 4 corners (see two photos). Now the board sits flat on my kitchen island. I can also orient it with the short sides on the top and bottom to make list-creating easier. And I can now stack other things on top when it’s not in immediate use to save counter space. I now love it. It’s so quick and easy for me to drop my thoughts onto that board throughout the day instead of putting each thought on a separate little piece of paper. The second one is on my bedroom/computer desk upstairs (see photo). I’ve decided (for now) to keep that one in its original angled form as I have plenty of desk space. But I may ultimately do the same thing and saw off the frame to flatten it. Again – using it turned on its side (with the shorter sides up top and bottom) just makes more sense for making quick lists of notes and thoughts. Plus, honestly, it’s not the easiest thing to write on when it’s angled up like a keyboard. You don’t otherwise write like that with anything else on your desk. But I’ll see how it goes before deciding whether to saw it flat or not.One other issue to note is with the pen that comes with it. While the pen itself says “Chalk Glass Marker” – it’s really some type of hybrid pen. It has a soft tip like a dry erase maker (and it writes perfectly well on dry erase boards as well). Other chalk markers meant for glass boards are more like liquid paint pens. They have very hard nibs that you need to press down on in order to get the chalk/paint to flow. And those pens take a little more effort to erase from glass boards than the provided hybrid marker. In fact, you can just brush away this marker’s writing on the board with your hand and the “ink” just really disappears into dust. Normal glass chalk markers will coat your fingers with the “ink.”I tried looking for replacement markers of this brand but to no avail. So once the marker runs out, you’ll need to purchase traditional glass chalk pens which won’t be as convenient as this pen (in terms of immediate ink flow and easy erase). And even though this pen looks and writes like a dry erase pen, know that true dry erase pens will NOT write well on this board. You do need one that specifically will work on glass. The point of describing all this is because, while I like the convenience of the hybrid pen provided, it’s too thick, requiring you to write in larger letters. See a photo of my writing a few examples on the board. You will quickly fill this board with just a few thoughts using the provided thick pen. Like me, you will likely want to order some fine-point chalk glass markers to make the most out of this product.

So Useful, I Almost Kept It for Myself!
I bought this desktop weekly dry erase planner as part of a Christmas gift exchange, and I loved it so much that I almost kept it for myself! The design is sleek, and it’s incredibly practical for staying organized. The dry erase surface makes it easy to adjust plans for the week. The person who won it in the exchange was thrilled, and I’m so glad it found a good home. Definitely a great gift for anyone who likes to stay organized!

    So pretty
Great board! I LOVE the brown/burgundy color. The marker was pretty much useless though, so be ready to purchase your own (I recommend chalk dry erase markers for this color).

Read carefully- but a great product
Make sure you do what I didn’t do and pay close attention to both the product and product description. Some of the descriptions are copy and pasted, but hey that’s efficiency. This one, the one with the wooden stand, doesn’t come with a stroage tray which I thought it did. However, if that one was anything like this then it would also be of great quality.I haven’t used it yet, but from opening the box to feeling the tempered glass, and maybe doodling here or there. The materials are good and solid. It doesn’t feel cheap even for it’s price point. If you need something extra to help with remembering things, this is a great addition and quite a good size. It’s about the size of a standard keyboard without a number pad. The days of the week at the top of it aren’t obtrusive into the writing area, so you still have a lot of writing space without having to follow any sort of specific function. Use it for notes, plan out your week, or stick sticky notes to it. I’ll give it a try at work tomorrow and provide an update in a week. Otherwise this very minimalistic and yet chic wooden and tempered glass notepad is already promising. On top of that, customer service was great.

    Simple but helpful
Low profile but very helpful on my desk at work. Sometimes I use it for notes to self and other times it is a to do list. The dry erase makes it versatile.

Great desktop whiteboard that exceeded my expectations
I wanted a compact-yet-classy looking weekly calendar whiteboard to place under my PC monitor to keep track of tasks. This product is well-worth the price. Writing on the board creates a nice floating text effect due to the layer of glass on top. The wooden base is sturdy, well-made, and keeps the calendar sitting upright at the perfect angle. I appreciate that the board came with a marker and eraser. The “notes” section on the righthand side is perfect for writing down misc. things that won’t fit inside of the daily square sections. Overall, I highly recommend this product to anyone who wants a nice looking yet simple dry erase calendar.

It is very practical and comes with a very good pen and eraser. Whomever sees asking to get one for themselves.

I’m a marketing manager, one person team. Having my plans written down is essential. I’ve also gotten a lot of compliments on the design – sleek, stylish, professional, modern, eco-friendly. I love it.

Very pleased with the product. Looks great and does the job. Only real criticism is the wood base is a bit rough. Could have done with finer sanding to give it a smoother and more polished finish.

  12. Ruth

I really like this product. Simple planner to have on a desk and although I haven’t dropped it, it does seem durable and strong. Pen works well too.

  13. Mary

This is a great option for people who need to adjust their schedule frequently but nonetheless want the most important points written down and in front of them rather than relying only on a digital calendar or to-do. It’s not too heavy, large enough to be useful but small enough not to take up a huge amount of space on the desk. The black glass version I got looks striking and classy. Only complaint is that the marker that comes with it was almost dry right out of the package. I had to order some more chalk markers right away. It won’t affect the usefulness of this tool in the long run, but it was a bit annoying to get going at first because of that.
