Bratan, this clay kit â how to say â perfect covert ops training for future spetsnaz of sandbox division. Bought for my little gremlin thinking he’d squish around and maybe make fish or octopus. Instead, he sits with laser focus, sculpting marine explosives like he’s prepping for underwater demolition. I show him once how to shape dolphin, next thing he builds depth charge out of stingray and names it âOperation Borscht Storm.âClay is soft like fresh syrniki, doesnât stink like chemical weapon, and doesnât dry out too fast so kid can actually finish mission before clay turns to concrete. Tools are real nice â not like flimsy plastic from discount bazar, but proper shaping instruments worthy of junior sapper.Colors bright, not like gray block housing in winter. Everything comes in little tins like smuggled contraband â easy to hide, easy to organize. Keeps kid busy for hours, I even got peace to drink kvass without hearing âpapa look!âIf your small one shows signs of high discipline and wants to mold sea creatures while secretly training hand for C-4 packing, this is excellent product. An Adorable Kit for Kids
I always loved art kits like this growing up, and this one is particularly well-designed and well-packaged.The box manages to fit 12 sculpture projects into a really light and fairly small container. Each project comes with its own jar of the necessary clay, which is great for multiple kids. The thing I really liked about it is that each model comes with step-by-step instructions to make the animal, rather than just a simple image. This reminds me a bit of the step-by-step drawing books I used to love when I was a kid, but because it’s clay, it allows for a bit of extra creativity. The clay itself is nice to work with, not too sticky, and didn’t leave stains on surfaces. It was fairly easy to clean up, and as expected, dried within about a day.This feels like a particularly good value due to the quantity of projects you get, and I’d imagine the other Artpar kits are the same, so I’d be tempted to try the others, in addition to recommending this one!

No oven required! Makes a nice craft time gift. Sometimes referred to as ‘Cloud Clay’. Its light & puffy and once it dries its the feel & texture of crocks. The finished product will bounce and is pliable like a stress ball. Bright colors and mixable too! Your kids imaginations will grow with this kind of creative play!This kit includes 12 projects, a booklet, and 4 sculpting tools. Each project is assigned a tub of assorted colors. The theme of this one is traffic or all the modes of transport. You can build a boat, truck, and even a tank & fighter jet. My kids build whatever comes to mind, my daughter made cheese, bananas & pumpkins. The kit includes the instruction booklet on how to build each model or wing it and go by the pictures LOL. The models will take around 24hrs to completely dry and to be completely kid safe. Yes when I open the box, I noticed a smell. The part that worries me is in the included tips sheet where they have printed “Slightly safe raw material odour” They admit the smell is slightly toxic. The smell can make those with scent sensitivity a little sick until its fully dry.

I got the ARTPAR Air Dry Clay Kits for Kids-Modeling Magic Clay,12 Animals DIY Molding Clay Art Crafts Set, Ultra Light & Soft, Safe & Non-Toxic with Sculpting Tools & Tutorials, for my 11-year-old son’s birthday. I was a little worried that he would feel too old for it. I was wrong. He LOVES it. Each animal is individually packaged with the clay and simple step-by-step instructions to create them. My son invited his sisters to create with him, and the four of them sat there for over an hour choosing their favorite animal, laughing, and creating masterpieces with the air-dry clay kits. I am putting this kit on my stock-up list to have on hand to give to friends for birthday and holiday gifts. Pricewise, it comes out to be about $2.50 per animal, which may be priced slightly higher than I would expect; however, finding an activity that my kids from 5-12 years old could do together, watching them spend time together, and being proud of themselves for being able to replicate the animals to look exactly like the picture makes the kit worth every penny.

I love that each tube shows step-by-step how to make different animals, and the clay colors are already picked out to match. This is an easy start. My six-year-old has been making animals for hours and just keeps going! The clay is super easy to work with, and it even comes with little tools to help add details like lines and edges. It has a nice fruity smell too, which is a fun bonus. The colors are really bright and vibrant, and itâs such a great way to build artistic skills â like learning how to create more detailed shapes. Totally recommend this set for any creative kid! It’s, fun, easy, no mess.

The variety of colors and sea animal tutorials in this set is wonderful! The instruction booklet and tip sheet are pretty nice to have, and the clay containers are great, as wellâ¦.Now for the issues (though minor): One container had a very soft green clay that leaked a bit into the other compartments. (See photos) It was not possible to decontaminate the white clay, which also had a small lump of dried clay in it that would not incorporate. Itâs still usable, but now itâs a very pale greenâ¦. There is some inconsistency in the feel of the clay from color to color; some are softer, others more firm, even after working it; nothing bad enough to render the clay unusable, however.I like how this clay is packaged, making it perfect for groups of kids in the classroom or at camp. (Would make a fun party activity or favor, too!) Itâs so easy to work with, not too messy, and a good way to learn while creatingâ¦.I could see senior adults enjoying this clay, as itâs soft and easy on the hands.Lastly, the set of tools is surprisingly sturdy! A+ on those.
