These silicone baby spoons are really nice!They’re very soft and smooth, so I’m not worried about letting my baby grab them. Sometimes I’ll give him a spoon before I get his food out so that he has something to play with while he’s in the high chair waiting, and he really enjoys pretending to eat with the spoon.These spoons also do really well scraping out baby food jars – they’re basically tiny silicone spatulas, so they get into the corners nicely and clean out the jars way better than plastic baby spoons or the rubber-covered metal ones. They also clean up the rejected bites off the baby’s chin quite well.Something I found interesting is that these spoons can bend in the handle area. It seems to be an intentional part of the design, and I guess it could be convenient if you prefer a more or less angled handle. I personally don’t care either way and the handles are strong enough to not bend by accident so it doesn’t bother me at all.They are a comfortable length to hold and feed the baby, long enough to easily get in all the different styles of jars but not awkwardly long. The different colors are nice and it’s one more thing my baby enjoys looking at.
