REFRIGERATOR LED LIGHTS INSTALLATION PROCEDURE 
THE BASIC STEPS ARE AS FOLLOWS
(1)Turn off the power:
First make sure the power to the refrigerator is disconnected to avoid any risk of electric shock.
(2)Check the screws:
Look at the back of the LED light and find the screws that hold it in place.
(3)Remove the old light:
Use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws and remove the original LED light.
(4)Install the new light:
Put the new LED light back in the original installation position and tighten the screws.

Legacy Clear Lens
Plenty of You Tube videos out there providing guidance as to how to replace an old fridge/freezer light. THIS review is to inform you that there are Two varieties to choose from. This item is the clear lens legacy light! The other variant that KitchenAide wanted to sell me has a new item number and comes with a frosted lens (and looks like a few more LEDâs inside). I have only one bad light and donât want to mix and match. I found the bad light, replaced it and they are All now working. Had to buy 5 but this buys my insurance that Iâll have a few more legacy light replacements should they by discontinued.

In KitchenAid refrigerators, if just one LED light module goes bad, it can cause all the other lightsâlike those on the doors or shelvesâto stop working as well. By identifying and replacing the faulty module, the entire lighting system should start working again.meaning: If one module goes bad, it can cause multiple lights â including those on the door or ceiling â to stop working.

FIXED and there are LIGHTS!
2 of them fixed all 5 in the freezer! The old didn’t pop out like the youtube said it would – BUT I got them out and plugged in these new ones and we have LIGHT!!! Just great we can do things like this by ourselves!

As expected
After I realized our Jenn-Air freezer had no light and one was out in the fridge side, I opted to try and replace the bulbs myself vs a $150 service fee from the local appliance repair. My husband was able to replace them all in minutes and so far so good..he did replace all of them, but the one that spearheaded was the one in the fridge. The pricing was a fraction of the manufacturerâs price. So I hope I get a few years out of them. It was good to watch the videos on replacement so you donât scratch the inside of the unit. That was helpful. We didnât need any extra tools for replacement either or parts.

Need better packing!
Perfect fit but you guys need to work on packaging. Five or six small boxes taped together without any packing material caused 1 light to fall out and become damaged. Good thing I only needed 2.
