My seven-year-old daughter and eight-year-old son have both been having so much fun with this set! I love watching them be creative and this set has captured their attention for hours.It’s easy enough that I handed the box to my daughter and they both had whipped out some cool creations not long afterward.This is a great bang for your buck! The different creation options are so cute and there’s lots of material to work with.Child approved!

Decent beginner kit.
Used to traditional origami paper which is much thinner than these, but good paper for kids just learning to make origami. The instruction booklet is okay, but some of the words and instructions were a bit confusing. And the pictures on the front showed an elephant but I couldn’t find the directions in the manual. The already designed origami paper like the dog, cat or rocket is pretty cool for making it look more realistic.

Fantastic beginning origami kit for children!
This origami kit is fantastic! If you want to introduce origami to a child in your life, THIS is where to start. With adult supervision, there quite a few adorable, folded paper characters to make. The papers are colorful and appealing. The booklet has pages of cute projects that will entice young ones. There are hours of creativity in this small kit. It’s a winner.

Great set.
I used to do origami back in the 70âs and loved it. Now itâs time to pass it along to my granddaughters. The instructions are very well thought out and there may be times when I will have to assist them. Once you learn how to do it you can make them any size using larger sheets of paper. Construction paper works well. I just wish that the paper was larger. A great arts and crafts project that makes you think.

Great paper, awful instructions
If you are looking to learn origami, this isnât the kit for you. If you are looking for a kit for kids to learn origami, this especially isnât it.The paper is high quality but the instruction booklet is confusing and quite frankly maddening. I attempted 3 designs from the booklet and the instructions didnât make any sense as they werenât descriptive. My husband, a 43 year old man, and the most patient person I know, tried 2 designs over the course of thirty minutes and gave up. Like I said though, the paper is pretty great. One pack is solid colors which you can use for any design. The other pack is patterned and intended to be used for designs found in the instruction booklet. If you choose to buy this, do so for the paper and look up comprehensive instructions via other methods.

Origami set for kids
This is a frat starter origami kit for kids. I really liked that it came with fun designed origami paper as well as just plain paper. It comes with a booklet that shows you how to fold everything. My daughter and I had a great time folding and then she played with all of them. Itâs a great intro set into origami!

Nice for starters
These are decent origami papers. They are thin which is what is needed. This is nice for the beginner. The instructions are simple to follow even if some of the designs are just okay. But it’s all a process. A beginner should start with design one – the ice cream cone and go from there. Practice technique then move on. I do wish they had included a bone folder but the back of a spoon works too.

This is a great origami activity set with a bunch of different sheets that have cute designs printed on them. Since they have printed designs, the final creations are brought to life so much more than with plain paper sheets. I love that there’s a book with instructions for all the different designs and it’s generally decently written. Some of the folds and patterns are going to be more difficult to understand and my daughters definitely needed assistance. That said, they still had a blast with the creations and final product.
