I purchased the item in hopes to use it in rental cars, which don’t have a phone holder and use it for navigation.Please note that the manufacturer did not mention the use in a car for this holder and I used it on my own risk. I am using it with my iPhone with MagSafe and it works great.PRO: the strip fits the steering wheel, and the magnet is very strong to hold the phone in place.CONS: You can’t obviously attach a charging cable, you have to activate the rotation lock of your display, else the screen will flip vertical or horizontal.Since the car use didn’t work out, I am using it now on my golf pushcart handle. The magnet is really strong, and the mechanism is well manufactured. The holding strip requires a foamy or rubbery surface to prevent it from rotating from the handle.Future use: I can recommend the use on trolleys, baby carts, jogger carts with a medium size handle size. It will hold your phone in place for easy access.

2 things!
First, if your strap is folded over like in the first photo, you need to open that fold up like the second photo to expose the velcro. I almost returned it because I thought that was how it was supposed to be and the velcro strip was missing. Iâm sure I wouldnât be the first or the last.Second, safety. This thing is already dangerous by design. If you plan on using this while driving, DONâT plug the charger in. It will wrap around the steering wheel. Also be mindful of where the airbag is and how it deploys. Last thing you want is to catch an iPhone in the teeth at 200mph because you crashed while you were texting with your new mount.As far as the product, itâs well made and does exactly what it says it does. If you have a MagSafe iPhone, it will stick very firmly without using the provided stick-on metal ring. Itâs easy to install and is very solid and wonât move around if you strap it on tight.

This is just mehâ¦not bad and not good. I bought this to attach my phone to the grocery cart so I could see my shopping app better. It was a struggle and hassle to wrap the Velcro so it would hold properly. I have another clamp that works better/easier and just requires twisting open a big screw which I am returning to use. I bought this one because it fits in my purse better. I will play with it a bit more to see if I get the hang of it, but it very well could go into my gadget graveyard. We shall seeâ¦
